Terms

The basic rules for using AskTheGospel, plus a few important clarifications about content and submissions.

Effective date: December 15, 2025

By accessing or using AskTheGospel, you agree to the terms below.

1) Purpose of the site

AskTheGospel provides educational content and commentary about Christianity and the Bible. It is not a replacement for personal pastoral counsel, professional counseling, legal advice, or medical advice.

2) Content and accuracy

All content is provided “as is.” The goal is to be careful, Scripture-first, and clear—but no guarantee is made that every post is complete, perfectly up to date, or free from mistakes. If you believe something is incorrect, you’re welcome to submit a question and point out the concern.

3) User submissions

When you submit a question, you agree that:

  • You’re submitting it voluntarily.
  • You won’t include sensitive personal information (like passwords, financial info, or private details you wouldn’t want public).
  • You won’t submit unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.

Questions may be edited for clarity, shortened, or combined with similar questions. Not every submission will receive an answer, and response timing is not guaranteed.

4) Publishing and attribution

If your question is answered publicly, the goal is to remove identifying details. AskTheGospel does not promise anonymity if you include personally identifying information in your submission.

5) Intellectual property

Site content (including posts, designs, and written answers) is owned by AskTheGospel unless otherwise stated. You may share links freely. Reproducing large portions of content elsewhere may require permission.

The site may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools (for example: forms, email, spam protection, analytics). AskTheGospel is not responsible for third-party content or policies.

7) Changes to these terms

Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you agree to the updated terms.

8) Contact

If you need to reach out, use the site’s contact options or submit a question labeled “Other.”
